Risk is the factor that kills most businesses off. Even if you’re lucky enough to get the capital to start, nearly 90% of all small businesses fail in the first year. If yours is one of the lucky ones, you have to keep reinvesting your time and money to build up the businesses reputation. It could be anywhere from 5-7 years before any significant profit is seen. Most of us cannot wait that long which is what makes affiliate marketing such an attractive offer.
Developing a budget that you stick with is a great way to keep in charge of your finances. When you are making up a budget, be sure that it is a budget that you can deal with long term. Make the budget reasonable and be sure that you budget in money to save each month as well. People who have a reasonable budget are less likely to start going out and running up a great deal of credit debt.
Analyze what you are selling or what you want to sell. It should be in an area where you have gained good knowledge. It may have a wide appeal, but you need to focus on those it appeals to most. For example, does your product appeal to musicians? That’s a pretty wide market. Now narrow it down. Who is most likely to be interested, singers or instrumentalists? From there you might want or need to narrow it down even further. For example, your product might appeal to musicians of a certain age, or musicians who favor a certain kind of music or even a particular type of vocalist.

When we first begin working toward a goal, we are filled with passion, fire and excitement. We feel invincible and we just know that we can accomplish whatever we desire. We take off running toward our goal, determined to make it happen, and we know we can make it happen.
There is no philosophy which will help a man to succeed when he is always doubting his ability to do so, and thus attracting failure. The man who would succeed must think success, must think upward. He must think progressively, creatively, constructively, inventively, and, above all, optimistically. You will go in the direction in which you face. If you look towards poverty, towards lack, you will go that way. If, on the other hand, you turn squarely around and refuse to have anything to do with poverty,— to think it,— live it, or recognize it— you will then begin to make progress towards the goal of plenty.

At some level we are all pursuing success of some sort. We are constantly looking for ways to have more, to be more and to gain more, thinking that once we have it all we will be happy and life will be perfect. Then, we can take it easy and relax and just enjoy life.
Even though some of us are better at certain skills, that doesn’t mean the rest of us, with practice, can’t improve or even surpass the talent expressed by another. Some seem to have learned it so well that they oftentimes don’t even realize how they do it. Manifesting abundance now comes to them so readily it appears natural just like a well-trained pianist seems to play the piano without thought or effort. They learn to believe whole-heartedly that they simply deserve something; it is now part of their reality. Those are the ones that seem to be born lucky. Luck is not how they got there!
